FastStart

CFMS low risk Implementation Methodology

CFMS recognise that implementing any new application or system comes with an inherent risk. To this end we have developed an approach to implementation geared to lowering risk. The approach is focused around our FastStart.

Step 1. Project planning day.

The project planning day is delivered prior to any financial commitment. The day is designed to review the overall project requirements and results in a structured project plan/specification. Total training, application development, project management, documentation and testing resource required will be identified within our standard structured methodology framework. As part of the project plan, and in conjunction with you we will identify a part of the development suitable for the FastStart.

Step 2. CFMS FastStart.

The FastStart is a five day exercise starting with a day training, and followed by four days of implementation or development. The FastStart is designed to prove the software and effect a skills transferral. At the end of the FastStart the customer has the option to proceed with the development or to reject the solution prior to committing to the software purchase or further development. At the end of the FastStart process skills transferral should enable the customer to control ongoing development. We view all our solutions to be end user developable. Step

3. Complete Development and Rollout.

We encourage our customers to complete the development themselves. The necessary skills required to do this will have been acquired during the FastStart. If resourcing is such that this is not possible or, if the customer requires a degree of “handholding” during completion of the first development our consultants are available to help you.
